As this year sprints towards a rapid close, Samantha and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family this festive season.

As you might know, I started teaching basic and art photography online a few years ago. At the time, by my admission, I did not think it would work. Well, today, I'm a complete convert. Since presenting on zoom, my courses have become more and more popular, and the quality of imagery produced has been exceptional. 

​

Not only do these classes now attract an international audience, but we're having just as much fun online as we used to have in a class environment, for which I am very grateful. 

​

As we head into the new year, it's time to consider new resolutions, opportunities and lifestyle changes. Through the challenges of the last few years, one thing that has become apparent is how important creativity is for our well-being. Photography and art have proved to be excellent outlets to help drown away from the noise of life in today's chaotic world. 

​

As we ponder the year ahead, I encourage you to embrace art photography as a creative medium. I'll be hosting a discussion on fine art photography early in January; this will not be a webinar but a live seminar in which I'll discuss my philosophy of the medium and answer questions from the audience.
